Here is a picture of the palm tree and flamingo’s, that is still on my table. I have had so much going on this last week, that I haven’t been able to get it up on the wall, but hope to get it there this week, if not, whenever.

Anyway, this picture is all cut into pieces, and is the second stage after I have drawn up the picture. I decided to attach the drawing that I drew up before I started, so here it is.

I can do most anything with the regular wet saw, that is used to cut straight line. I found, that if I could draw it, I could cut it out of tile, and from there it is easy to put up.

I have done other pictures, A Norman Rockwell I well picture of a little boy fishing with a dog beside him, An apple tree, with apples on the tree, and on the ground, with 2 blue birds in the tree, and one in flight I did another with the boy fishing, who caught a shoe. Humming birds with flowers, and I plan to do 2 pictures in the bathrooms for the Library here in Marathon, and also 2 pictures in the Baptist Church, here in Marathon also, where we go to church.

As far as I know, there isn’t anybody else who has done this work. I know it is done with wood quite often, but I think I am unique with the tile. I have never made any money doing it.

My husband and I did ALL the work in this barn, when we moved out here in 1996. We have 6 children, 25 grandchildren, and 15 Great Grandchildren. He is 82, and I am 77, and have been married for 59 years this year. WE are both healthy, and plan on being around for quite awhile yet.
